HISTORY

The Hotel Sole is a masterpiece of art and elegance and is the work of well known architect Giancarlo Maroni, a friend of Gabriele d'Annunzio and the architect of the historical “Il Vittoriale” in Gardone. Maroni is responsible for the appearance of the Hotel Sole that we admire today.
With it’s splendid lake front façade adorned with arches, balconies and decorative ovals that recall the historic porticoed buildings of the square. The hotel boasts large lounges, an impressive staircase and a terrace looking out onto the lake.
The Grand Hotel Sole, one of the first hotels on the lake, has seen tourism grow to the present day. The hotel has evolved following the trends of a constantly changing market.
